“Memory Motel” is a song off of the Rolling Stones’ 1976 album Black and Blue. Mick Jagger started writing the lyrics while he and Keith Richards were staying at Andy Warhol’s house in Montauk, New York on Long Island. Since the motel was the only place in the area with a pool table and a piano, Mick and Keith would occasionally drop by and hang out.

Rolling Stone magazine ranked it the 38th Greatest Rolling Stones song in 2013. At over seven minutes long, “Memory Motel” is one of the longest songs by the Rolling Stones.
